We have done our best to be transparent about what data we collect and why, as well as who it is shared with so we can provide our products, services, and support to you. Overview
Customers and users are two distinct groups:
- Our customer for Funterra is typically a parent and in some cases might be a teacher or school district.
- Our users like teachers, students or parents users are accessing the product because the customer has granted them access.
- It is of course possible to be both a customer and a user, which is typically the case when someone buys our products for home use.
When viewing the below information please keep in mind the distinction between customers and users.

Customer Purchase Data Collected to Process an Online Funterra Order
SMART sells individual subscriptions for Funterra through two regional online stores: United States and _ ._ Canada Credit card purchases are processed by Stripe ®. SMART never has access to your credit card number.
Stripe and SMART are considered the data controllers when customer data is collected while selling a product or service directly to you via the online stores. We require this customer data to allow us to sell and electronically deliver the product or service to you.

User Data Collected While Using Funterra
Funterra is a platform that offers games, videos and activities to classrooms and households. When users interact with content (e.g. viewing a video, playing a game, taking a quiz etc.) they are rewarded with points and achievements (gamification). The section below describes the data collected by the Funterra service in order to facilitate the gamification experience.
